Events and procissions
  • The Endoenças, religious celebration of Holy Week, which attracts trade and tourism. The Procession of Endoenças takes place over 300 years ago, connecting the two shores of the final section of Tâmega (confluence with the Douro), between Torrão and the upper part of Entre-os-Rios, a route that includes the Bridge Duarte Pacheco. Before the inauguration of this infrastructure in 1941, the procession crossed the Tâmega in Rabelo boats lit with lanterns, followed by the sermon of Endoenças and the route of the Cross to Calvary, in the Chapel of St. Sebastião
